What do you all do?
I am putting a question out there to the other families who have adopted from China or are waiting to adopt. What do you all do to celebrate Chinese New Years? I am quite looking forward to it, and want to be as authentic as possible, I am just wondering what are your traditions? I hope you all can give me a few ideas :)

Last year we went out for Dim Sum with our Mandarin group and at home had a dinner party and tried out some new recipes. This year I am going to have peking duck. (bought from a local market). We always decorate the house with chinese decorations for February.
ReplyDeleteThanks Paige! After our big Autumn Moon Festival, I wasn't sure about having a big party, as traditional chinese food has to be cooked at the last minute for the most part, and makes it hard to be a good hostess :) We'll see what I decide!
